Council Candidates Say They Support Local Business. Actions Speak Louder Than Words.

Nearly every candidate speaks about supporting Burbank businesses. Here is where each campaign has spent its money so far, from the reports they filed with the city.

Please note: This is not an endorsement of any candidate. None of the candidates for Burbank City Council is a Republican, and we recommend only Republican candidates. Our team sent each candidate the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, and none of them has signed it, so none of them has promised to protect you from tax increases.

JT Parr filed a short-form statement (Form 470), which candidates use when they expect to raise and spend less than $2,000, so there are no itemized payments to show for his campaign.

How we counted

Source: each campaign committee's electronically filed Form 460 reports to the City of Burbank, from the city's public campaign data, using the most recent version of each report, from each campaign's first report through October 17, 2026. The Burbank share counts payments to vendors for goods and services. Government filing fees, online donation processing fees and bank fees are shown but not counted. When a campaign paid by credit card, the individual purchases are counted instead of the card bill. A vendor counts as Burbank when its reported city is Burbank or its ZIP code is a Burbank ZIP code. Payments under $100 do not have to be itemized and are shown as location unknown. Spending after October 17 will appear in later reports. Independent committees that spend to support or oppose candidates are not included, because that is not the candidates' own spending.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and polls close at 8 p.m. If you have not voted yet, please vote, and invite a friend to vote too.
