How we counted

We compared the Los Angeles County voter files from July 2022, May 26, 2026 and October 26, 2026, counting only voters whose home address is in the city of Burbank. A household is every registered voter at the same street address and unit. The 551 new Republicans are everyone who registered for the first time, re-registered, moved to Burbank from elsewhere in the county, or changed their registration to Republican between May 26 and October 26. Like every community, Burbank says goodbye to neighbors each year, some who pass away and some who move on. What matters is who comes next.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and polls close at 8 p.m. If you have not voted yet, please vote, and invite a friend to vote too.
